Dear valued patient,

The Chief Medical Officer of Health has announced that Dentists are now permitted to provide in-person care for all deferred, non-essential and elective services, in addition to emergency and urgent care and the Royal College of Dental Surgeons of Ontario has provided us with new guidelines.  We will be contacting all patients who had their appointments cancelled.

Please understand that we will be prioritizing care for emergency and urgent treatment prior to booking non-essential care appointments.

Booked dental cleaning appointments may need to be rescheduled to allow us to follow the new social distancing guideline. If your current appointment needs to be rescheduled we will contact you prior to your appointment.

Steps we are taking to welcome you back:

Enhanced patient protection measures:All of our staff members have upgraded their protective gear. This includes appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) for all appointments. Between patients, we meticulously clean and disinfect rooms and all surfaces, as well as sterilize instruments.

A virtual waiting room:We have set up virtual “waiting room” for our patients to check in via text message and wait, if necessary, somewhere safe outside the clinic, such as in a car.

Tech-enabled screening:We digitally pre-screen patients in advance for COVID-19 symptoms and risk factors to ensure our clinic stays COVID-free. We also screen our team members.
